Dr. Brochert was valedictorian of his class at Ross University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he trained in diagnostic radiology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Dr. Brochert subsequently did mini-fellowships in cardiac imaging, CT colonography and MRI with world renowned imagers in these fields. While in residency, Dr. Brochert obtained an MBA from Georgia Southern University. He was awarded the Radiology Teacher of the Year award by radiology residents during his first post-training year in Savannah, GA at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Dr. Brochert started the first regional cardiac CT program in southeast Georgia and currently resides there, where he helps manage outpatient facilities and a teleradiology company that services patients throughout the United States. He also oversaw outpatient imaging for many years at Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Desert, CA and became an expert in advanced imaging including cutting edge PET, CT and MRI. In addition to publishing multiple scientific papers and being involved in medical imaging research, Dr. Brochert has also authored many books and articles in the field of medical education. He brings his passion for diagnostic imaging to AMC Shanghai, hoping to enhance the quality of radiologic care for people in the Shanghai area.
